Strategic Partners
Stereotaxis has formed, and continues to build on, critical strategic alliances with leading companies in the medical technology industry and also to build relationships with certain important OEM and specialty software providers. The Company's collaborations include co-development of new devices and other products, advanced software and hardware integration of imaging modalities, co-marketing and co-selling of devices and coordinated provision of service on a worldwide basis. We are privileged to have formed partnerships with the leading companies in the cardiac cath lab industry and to enjoy the substantial and continuing support that they have provided for commercialization of our technology. We view these relationships as endorsement of the Company's vision that our technology has the potential to revolutionize the practice of cardiac interventional medicine by providing hospitals and their clinicians with the wherewithal to treat patients more safely, predictably and effectively, to expand procedure volumes, enable more complex cases, standardize procedure times and improve overall efficiency.
Catheter and 3D Location Sensing Technology
As the industry leader in endocardial diagnostics and therapy, Biosense Webster, Inc. a Johnson & Johnson company, has installed advanced diagnostic, therapeutic and mapping systems and software that are used with its proprietary disposable devices in more than 400 sites worldwide. The company is known for having pioneered the first deflectable tip catheter, as well as the market leading and most sophisticated three-dimensional navigation and catheter location sensing system.
Stereotaxis and Biosense have successfully carried out and continue to execute on our alliance to combine the software and hardware of the CARTO™ XP EP Navigation and Ablation system with the NIOBE® Magnet System, the NAVIGANT™ Software User Interface and other products. We have also codeveloped a series of ablation and mapping catheters that incorporate Biosense catheter technology and Stereotaxis magnetic navigability, as well as a line of sister catheters that also incorporate Biosense’ unique 3D catheter location sensing technology. The 4mm versions of these ablation and mapping catheters have been commercialized in the U.S. and Europe. Commercialization of the first of our codeveloped 8mm ablation catheters is imminent in Europe and is anticipated in the U.S. in due course, to be followed in the U.S. and Europe by commercialization of our codeveloped irrigation catheters. Biosense acts as distributor for the codeveloped catheters and Stereotaxis acts as distributor for accessories including the CARDIODRIVE™ Catheter Advancement System and related disposables.
We believe the integration of Biosense’ and Stereotaxis’ technologies pursuant to our alliance brings an important new standard of state-of-the-art navigational access to the heart for ablation therapy. Read more about Biosense at www.biosensewebster.com.
Digital Fluoroscopy (X-ray) Integration
As a leading solutions provider in the areas of Healthcare, Lifestyle and Technology, we collaborate with cardiologists and leading medical research institutions to develop advanced imaging, diagnostic, interventional, patient monitoring, information management and resuscitation tools to enable the highest standards of care.
Philips dedicated EP business unit is committed to improving the EP lab environment, enable new, more complex procedures and integrate the EP work-flow process across the complete patient care cycle. Philips continued partnership with Stereotaxis illustrates our strategy of collaborating with best-in-class vendors to develop comprehensive EP product offerings. The interface between Philips' Allura Xper FD10 advanced interventional x-ray system and Stereotaxis' magnetic navigation technology is a result of such effort and promotes our vision of leading the EP market through better, more enhanced patient care and treatment solutions.
Stereotaxis and Philips are partnering to provide an integrated solution to cardiac procedures for both Electrophysiology and Interventional Cardiology. The Philips Allura Xper FD10 advanced interventional x-ray system is fully integrated with the Stereotaxis Magnetic Navigation System. Stereotaxis and Philips technologies have the common goals to improve interventional medicine by providing the highest quality images while reducing radiation exposure to the patients and staff and to improve the efficiency of the lab environment by simplifying technology and optimizing work flows.

Digital Fluoroscopy (X-ray) Integration
As one of the largest global suppliers to the healthcare industry, Siemens has achieved international recognition for bringing together innovative medical technologies, healthcare information systems, management consulting and support services.
Stereotaxis partners with Siemens to offer a highly sophisticated digital fluoroscopy system on the market—AXIOM Artis dFC™. This system is composed of digital imaging plates that are fully compatible with the magnetic fields generated by the Stereotaxis Magnetic Navigation System. We believe Stereotaxis and Siemens’ technology has the potential to dramatically impact current cath lab operations — fully integrating imaging, archiving and device localization with interventional diagnosis.
The AXIOM Artis dFC™ Single plane C-arm system is specially designed for the integration with Stereotaxis’ Magnetic Navigation System.
The latest innovation of the partnership is the integration of the AXIOM Artis dB™ Biplane C-arm which allows single plane C-arm imaging with magnetic navigation or conventional biplane C-arm imaging.
